This month of April, my thoughts are not so much on the kitchen as they are on my garden. For this Daring Baker challenge I went with a plain Jane cheesecake. No extra embellishments – just the cheesecake with flavoring courtesy of M. Cointreau. This was a wise decision because the plain cheesecake was fantastic -- it had a simple and clear flavor. The texture was the star -- smooth and creamy, almost melting in your mouth. The recipe is a winner -- the baking instructions produced a cheesecake with no cracks or sinkholes.
